“What Animal Is this?” is about participatory development of playgrounds. Designs are created as a result of playing with technical drawings of buildings.

The video shot in Madrid’s Matadero depicts how the artist Iza Rutkowska works with participants (here, the kids) out in the field regardless of it being a museum or a city space.

The challenge here was definitely working in the real space full of very lively kids. At the same time this was an amazing experience to work in the one and only Matadero.

However, many locations proved to be scarce of light or there were lights that mixed. We dealt with it by using top notch equipment. Then some post production work did just perfect.
